Description

Vintage or possibly antique rustic pine little chest box made in Eastern Europe in the 1920s probably. Slightly curved top; chunky dovetails on the corners. Hinged lid. There's an old hasp on the box front. Condition is pretty good structurally: it's solid and sound; cosmetically it has various dings and scrapes and, most obviously, lots of old woodworm holes. They haven't done anything structurally significant; the occupants are long gone and it's probably been treated in the past but we've fully treated it again for good measure. Dimensions: 53cm x 33cm x 37cm high
